How it gets on the site

  1. A human reads it. Every submission, no auto-publish.
  2. We check it's real, in DFW, and not already on the site from a ticketing feed.
  3. It goes live, usually within a couple of days.
  4. If it clashes with something we already list, we merge rather than double it up.

Straight talk: we're a young site and we're not going to quote you a traffic number we can't back up. Listing is free precisely because we'd rather earn the relationship than sell you on numbers. If you want the pinned top spot instead, that's on the advertise page.

What we'll list

Anything open to the public and actually happening in the DFW metro — music, food and drink, markets, arts, outdoors, sports, family, nightlife, festivals. We skip online-only events, anything outside the metro, affiliate-link farms, and events with no fixed date. We'll trim marketing copy down to a line or two so it reads like the rest of the site.
